I am a Licensed Masters-level Social Worker supervised by Carol Davis-Rios, LCSW-S. I have 5 years of experience as a social worker, including as an inpatient therapist at an acute psychiatric hospital, primarily working with adolescents. My passion is connecting with people through their life stories and my therapeutic approach is strengths-oriented and collaborative—I believe every person has the capacity for growth and change.
My goal is to work together to identify and draw from your strengths, competencies, and hidden resources to assist you in coping with life’s difficulties. You will learn to remove obstacles towards growth including identifying unhealthy patterns of thinking and managing overwhelming emotions.
I specialize in working with adolescents 12-17, however I see clients of all ages for issues related to depression, anxiety, self-harm, suicidality, self-esteem, sexual orientation, gender identity, trauma, and grief.
