I am originally from Houston, Texas, and have resided in College Station since 2007. I have
extensive experience working with eating disorders, anxiety, and depression. In addition, I have
experience working with individuals with Borderline Personal Disorder, as well as PTSD.
My own experience with depression and an eating disorder drove my passion to enter the mental
health industry and help those who also struggle with eating disorders, mood disorders, and
substance abuse. I also have first-hand experience with the effects of addiction on myself, my
family, and my friends.
The therapeutic techniques I tend to utilize but not limited to are
- Dialectical Behavior Therapy
- Cognitive Behavior Therapy
- Exposure Prevention Therapy
Acceptance Commitment Therapy - Self-Compassion
- Person-Centered Therapy
However, I have an eclectic approach to therapy, as every individual’s situation is unique. I believe
therapeutic interventions are determined and utilized toward the clients’ personal struggles and
needs.
Absolutely, life can and will be difficult at times. However, there is hope. My role as a
clinician is to assist you in reaching whatever goals you may have for yourself by providing non-
judgmental support and helping to facilitate your journey towards living a healthy and happy life.
